The #DMVBailOut began as the dream of three Black women, JeNae Taylor, Nnennaya Amuchie and Samantha Master, who answered Southerners on New Ground’s (SONG) call in 2017 to bail out Black mamas and caretakers to raise public consciousness about the inhumanity of money bail.
